Northeast Emergency Medicine Specialists (NEMS) comprises some of the most experienced and compassionate physicians in the industry. Medicine today is a rapidly evolving field with constant change both in patient care and in health policy. To be successful, groups need to find a balance. This is an easier proposition with a model that supports democratic physician ownership with all of our physicians representing the group as a whole. We focus on prompt and effective problem solving, shared decision making, and the understanding that fostering, respecting and strengthening relationships are amongst our highest priorities.

Our track record and numbers speak for themselves. We are in the top percentile in patient satisfaction scores, and we continue to have an increasing local market share at sites where national groups have failed. We are a data-driven enterprise, which allows us to accomplish the shared goals of our partner hospitals, while constantly improving upon our numbers, some of the best in the state for door-to-doctor times and patient outcomes. We constantly seek to educate ourselves to stay state-of-the-art in all facets of Emergency Medicine. We now have multiple fellowship-trained physicians in Ultrasound and Hyperbarics and constantly seek to further educate our clinicians.
